Monstera Leaf Single Tube Propagation Stations

My friend found and saved me the most beautiful red pallet I'd ever seen. and this station is made from that deconstructed pallet. I drew a monstera leaf template, glued it to the pallet wood and then used a bandsaw to get the shape right.

Square Single Tube Propagation Station

To make these square tube stations, I glue 2 pieces of poplar to get a thicker 1.5" piece. I use a 2" hole saw to cut out the center, and a 1" Forstner bit on the drill press to cut out the hole on top for the test tube.

Round Single Tube Propagation Stations

These round prop stations are actually the inside pieces of the square stations that I make above. Because the hole saw creates a small hole on the bottom of the material, I'm able to string them across a large tube to stain and poly coat much easier.

Resin Bowl Propagation Stations

My resin propagation stations are made from upcycled wooden salad bowls. I use a drill press to add 2 tube holes on one edge, add rubber feet for stability and then use a 2 part epoxy resin mixed with acrylic paints and Micah powder to make the designs on the insides of the bowls.

If you want to root more than one or two cuttings, a multi tube station is the way to go. These are made from an upcycled wooden shipping container.

These little amber jars are a fun and cute way to show off your cuttings. I cut the designs at home using my Cricut machine on permament white vinyl.

These spooky Halloween edition cement skulls were handmade by a friend who uses a variety of molds to make candle holders. These have been fitted with black stained wood pieces to perfectly fit my test tubes.

I love collecting antque teacups and needed a way to use all the beautiful china I was finding. I use a diamond drill bit on my drill press to drill a drainage hole for my teacups. If there's one thing succulents hate, it's sitting in water.

Handmade Leaf Plushies

I fell in love with the idea of leaf pillows and decided to take a crack at sewing my own. I based the pattern off a single leaf of my black velvet alocasia plant. I buy a variety of different fleece materials and embroider the leaf veins using my sewing machine.
